What you'll need for your Yoga class:

Make sure you have a mat and plenty of space around you, some water, any props you find useful during practice such as blocks/cushions/bands and also some warm clothing or blankets for relaxation. (Exc. Restorative Yoga where props and blankets are provided)
I advise clients to wear loose clothing for the session and practice preferably in bare feet.

For In-person yoga classes in Monks Kirby, full instructions are given at the time of booking,

Restorative Yoga

Time: 18:15-19:30

This is a longer and gentler floor based practice, holding the poses for longer periods of time, often with support/props. Suitable for those who enjoy a softer, more healing, restorative practice or for anyone recovering from injury or managing issues.  Movements and transitions will be slower and more mindful with modifications and adaptations and props for more or less challenges as you so desire.  Props and blankets provided for In-Person practice. Please have your own for Online practice.

Time: 18:30-20:00

The Yoga of Sound & Devotion (Nada & Bhakti)

An informal gathering with the intention of singing & chanting mantras together in a safe & non-judgemental space. Using our voices & the magic & science of sound frequency to raise our vibrations. Regardless of how you perceive your voice, this is not about being perfect or learning to sing, this is about coming together in community to enjoy the present moment & the healing effects of sound vibrations All faiths/non-faiths, belief systems, cultures & identities are welcome & accepted, the singing & chanting is your own unique connection to the divine. You are also welcome to come along just to receive/experience.

Hatha Yoga Flow

This is an intermediate level practice loosely based on Hatha Yoga, with some other styles occasionally thrown in and options for all. A mixture of asanas, flow and breathwork to help you ride the energy waves of life. Included are modifications and adaptations for more or less challenges as you so desire. Beginners are welcome as long as the correct options are taken.

Private sessions tailored to meet your own intentions and find your authentic resonance & expression. A unique & holistic approach, facilitated by Emma, a professional Vocalist & certified Yoga Instructor. Encompassing all aspects of self, physical, mental, emotional, energetic, spiritual. Holding space for intuitive exploration of your sound, your rhythm, your voice. 

Group Sessions available on request

Nada/Bhakti/Kirtan (Chanting/Singing Mantras - The Yoga of Sound & Devotion)

Thursdays:
Hatha Yoga Flow Online (with optional Meditation from Sept)

Time: 17:00-18:00
(17:00 - 18.15 with Meditation)

 

This is an intermediate level practice loosely based on Hatha Yoga with with some other styles occasionally thrown in and options for all. A mixture of asanas, flows and breathwork. As of Thursday 5th September this will be followed by a 15 minute online guided meditation, available as an add on option for your hatha yoga practice or drop in just for meditation. All to help you ride the energy waves of life. Included are modifications and adaptations for more or less challenges as you so desire. 

Beginners are welcome as long as the correct options are taken.
